Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives on keeping complex public-sector construction projects on track? In this role, you’ll help transform community needs into tangible improvements. You’ll coordinate infrastructure upgrades, tenant improvements, and new facility construction while partnering with architects, engineers, analysts, planners, contractors, and agency leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with scope and policy requirements.
This position goes beyond scheduling and task tracking. It offers the opportunity to contribute directly to projects that shape how our community lives, works, and grows. The current opening is a regular, benefitted, and full-time position but the list may be utilized to fill future regular, temporary, or limited-term vacancies in the City for the duration of the list.

Experience and Training
Experience:
Three years of increasingly responsible experience in the management of facility related projects and the construction of new buildings, including one year of lead responsibility.
AND
Training:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Architecture or qualifying experience for acceptance by the California Architects Board to take the state Architectural Registration Examination (A.R.E.).
License and Certificate
Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
Possession of a valid Architect License issued by the California Architects Board OR possession of a current certificate of registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in California by date of application.
