Who You Are
You're passionate about design and obsessive about document quality. You know how to lead a team, earn a client's trust, and see a project through from kickoff to closeout. You're humble enough to ask questions and experienced enough to know when to ask. You love being in the office and feeding off the energy of a team that's all-in.
What You'll Do
Lead the full project lifecycle, including scheduling, scope, budgets, contracts, and client communication, across multiple concurrent projects
Produce and oversee high-quality construction documents from SD through CDs using primarily Revit® and some limited AutoCAD
Lead and coordinate with civil, structural, landscape, and MEP consultants
Mentor and manage project teams, monitor staffing plans, and track profitability
Define project scope and fees, prepare proposals, and participate in client presentations
Ensure design intent, code compliance, and quality standards are upheld at every phase
What You Bring
5+ years of project management experience in a commercial architecture office
Bachelor's (professional) degree in Architecture (Master's preferred); RA preferred but not required
Required knowledge of building codes, zoning, life safety, and accessibility requirements
Proficiency in Revit®, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam; BIM 360, 3D visualization tools, and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
Positive attitude; excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills; and a strong desire to better everything touched.

$95,000–$105,000 depending on experience

Scott Sower founded SSARCO of TX, PLLC to focus on client relationships, quality documentation, and value driven design. Prior to SSARCO, Scott spent nearly 27 years at Good Fulton & Farrell Architects (GFF) in Dallas. During his tenure at GFF, Scott advanced to Principal in 2007 and led a studio that ranged from 8 – 16 members. Throughout his career, Scott has led, managed, and designed several projects, including office, automotive, fitness, restaurant, mixed-use, and multi-family.
