The “Senior Project Coordinator” at Mayse reports to and works directly under the Project Manager and above positions. A Senior Project Coordinator must have an architectural or relevant degree or training, at least three years’ experience in architecture or construction, and mastered all the responsibilities of the Project Coordinator position. Compensation for Senior Project Coordinators is based on individual performance in project management, technical competency, and timely project delivery.
The following lists some of the roles and responsibilities of a Senior Project Coordinator:
Project Management
Able to assist with multiple projects through all phases of the project cycle
Capable of guiding projects through the various governmental processes
Able to coordinate the activities and schedules of team members working under them toward successful project delivery
Able to produce drawings forprojects of limited scope and complexity with minimal supervision
Able to coordinate with the various consultants to meet assigned project deadlines with supervision
Able to effectively communicate with clients, as needed
Technical Competence
Able to assist in the preparation and presentation of marketing materials
Able to review and redline architectural drawings
Comprehensive knowledge of Mayse and brand standards on all aspects of a project
Experience with building codes, laws, and standards
Technically proficient in the use of Revit and functional knowledge in the use of AutoCAD and other graphics software applications
Able to coordinate consultant work with architectural work
Accountability
Represent and adhere to the goals and core values of the firm with professionalism
Must assume responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to them in terms of overall quality and schedule
Must assume responsibility for the performance of the team members working under their direct supervision
Encouraged to actively pursue professional registration, pursue professional advancement within the Firm, and encourage others within the Firm to advance
