PLATT, a full-service Architecture, Construction, and Interior Design firm based in Brevard, NC, is seeking a creative, collaborative, and results-oriented Project Architect with experience in custom residential design. This role combines architectural and interior design responsibilities essential for the seamless execution of complex projects.

Responsibilities will include:

Design and Documentation

• Lead the development of architectural and interior design concepts from Schematics to Construction Documentation and Administration.
• Produce comprehensive construction documents, including interior aspects such as casework, lighting design, and interior trim details.
• Specify materials, finishes, and other selections to ensure a cohesive design approach.
• Develop presentation models and progress review sets of drawings at various development stages.
• Maintain up-to-date deliverables on internal servers and shared platforms.

Client and Team Collaboration

• Foster strong client relationships through consistent communication and responsiveness to client needs.
• Work collaboratively with team members, exhibiting strong multi-tasking abilities and strategic flexibility to achieve overall project goals.

Project Coordination and Administration

• Coordinate with internal and external designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure the orderly and timely execution of work.
• Serve as the Construction Administrator during the Construction Phase, maintaining notes and photos from job site visits, creating follow-up reports, and documenting changes.
• Collaborate with the project team to create well-coordinated projects that integrate interior and architectural elements.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in residential design.
• Exceptional competency with CAD software in an architectural setting; expertise in ArchiCAD is a plus.
• Competency with rendering software such as TwinMotion and Enscape
• Ability to handle deadlines while maintaining a calm and collaborative demeanor.
