Here at Ultra-Unit Architectural Studio we embrace “crafted design” as a methodology and consider ourselves catalyst of change in the dynamic Long Beach area. Crafted because we see good design as the product of an effort that shapes a problem, negotiates between actors and works through iteration to find a great solution. Architecture the way we practice it also includes actively participating in construction as a way of maintaining authorship and bridging the gap between concept and building. We value making physical models, sketching, 3d modeling, visualization as we see all of these mediums as significant
