Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking a Job Captain with a positive, collaborative work style, for our Retail Studio in our Newport Beach, CA Office.
Responsibilities include:
- Interfacing with an expanding major retailer with a multi-state footprint.
- Design and construction document development for execution of retail projects.
- Attending site survey’s and presenting projects to clients.
- Overall team management to ensure and complete project assignments and reviews.
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture; Architectural registration (or on track) is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of post-graduate professional experience.
- Experience in Retail projects required.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills and highly organized.
- Proficient Revit skills required; AutoCAD knowledge and experience a bonus; Photoshop, InDesign or additional graphic skills preferred.
- The ideal candidate is comfortable and adept at working on multiple fast paced projects.
- Candidate will be a solid self-starter, creative thinker, and independent problem solver.
- Self-motivated candidates demonstrating a proactive work ethic are ideal.
- A commitment to sustainability as a responsible business practice and approach to design.
