Job Overview:
EcoModular is a modular manufacturing company. We are seeking a bilingual civil engineer who is familiar with structural design terms and concepts in both English and Chinese. Ideal candidates shall hold a degree from U.S. university with major in civil engineering and have experience with California construction standards.
Duties:
Participating in product design meetings with lead engineers from both China and California.
Acting as the liaison between the two groups, translation, and organize design materials originated in both languages.
Coordinating with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Researching and comparing different design concepts and products to identify optimal parameters.
Applying research and analytical findings to generate reports for company decision makers to select optimal modular models.

Experience & Education:
Prefer undergraduate degree in China and graduate degree from a U.S. university with major in civil engineering or structural engineering
Prefer to have minimum 2 years of working experience
Prefer to be licensed in California
Proficiency in ArchiCAD and other architectural design software
The ability to work in cross-functional teams with engineers and contractors
