Job Duties: Provide web-based 3D project collaboration and building information modeling (BIM) technology as well as advanced project delivery services to, architects, engineers and builders; utilize understanding of architectural building process to implement digital design methods and tools on a range of project phases and types; in conjunction with a GT Project Manager, design and implement project 3D enabled project solutions for architects, engineers and builders; model complex systems and geometry, and configure and customize technology via scripting; train both groups and individuals in use of company’s proprietary products; utilize computer aided design (CAD) software applications, including Digital Project, Catia and Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros and Maya BIM platforms; apply programming to develop and automate digitally centric design, prepare technical solutions for clients, and estimate task execution timeframe and work planning; integrate and consolidate BIM data as well as organize and report on project BIM databases; work will be performed on class A office building, museum and educational project typologies; and leverage experience with advanced technologies and digital design tools. May telecommute.
Job Requirements: Must have a Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field and 6 months of experience in a related occupation. OR a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field and three years of experience in a related occupation.
Position also requires experience in each of the following: Digital design tools (Digital Project, Catia, Rhinoceros, Revit, and CAD.); 2) Surface and wireframe design; 3) BIM (building and information modeling) production and coordination; 4) Geometry optimization; 5) Automation (Grasshopper, Dynamo, Processing); 6) 2D (two-dimensional) and CNC (computer numerical control) output production; 7) Construction modeling and simulation; 8) BIM analytics and BIM software; and 9) Delivering technical presentations.
