Who we are:

Studio 2G Architects is located in the beautiful downtown of San Luis Obispo, in the heart of the Central Coast of California, known for its historic architecture, vineyards, and outdoor activities. We are a women-led, close-knit boutique firm, with 18 years in business and recognized for our transformative designs, contributing to our community, holding high standards for design and sustainable principles, and excellent working relationships with our Clients. We are looking for a creative collaborative person to join and be part of our Team. Design work will include new construction and renovation projects across federal, state, commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors.

We are seeking:

A self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude and desire to be part of a Team. An unlicensed Individual with a degree in architecture, in addition to a minimum of three to five years of full-time experience in an architectural office, who is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture. Qualifications should include:

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree
• Architectural registration or path to licensure
• Design skills are highly desirable
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience in Contract Document production 
• Experience in preparing presentation graphics
• Excellent communication (visual and verbal) skills are a must 
• Has a good understanding of technical, building code and project coordination  Can show experience in coordinating with consultants, jurisdictions, and associates 
• Some Client management 
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Seeks to improve self and contribute to the company's mission

Location:

We require in-office work for collaborative efforts and the learning of the practice itself.  This is a full-time position, with the option of alternative workweek schedules.

Compensation:  

We are committed to the well-being of our employees and provide:

• $50,925 (0 yrs) - $60,820 (5 yrs), includes stipends
