The Design Program Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and monitoring the design and development of multiple projects. This role will maintain company standards by providing input to the design team as it relates to matters that affect costs, inconsistencies, and code compliance issues.

Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Design Program Manager's responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed.
Design amenity areas for development review and approval.
Manage Urban Interior design for coordination, budget and final installation with construction team to maintain design intent through construction value engineering process.
Manage hardscape designer for outdoor amenities.
Coordinate outdoor and indoor amenity cohesiveness.
Work directly with Precon amenity manager to manage development expectations and construction budget.
Assist Cottage division with clubhouse design, ID coordination for plans and budget.
Design project meeting Landmark standards for amenities and projected unit sizes.
Manage project architect to produce the final colored elevations and project renderings.
Review all project scheduled milestone releases for compliance with design intent and project budget.
Detailed review of interior design plans for intent and budget.
Schedule and attend all ID meetings with development and construction throughout design progress.
Develop relationships with interior designers.
Assist with the selection of the project architect and interior designer.
Work with construction for acceptable VE substitutions for development approval.
Manage MEP coordination for amenity area ceiling heights.
Provide initial building studies based on square footage assumptions producing density study sketches to direct Architects.
Review all ID submittals during construction to maintain design intent.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree of Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
1-3 years relevant experience.
Construction software experience preferred. Ex: Bluebeam, Smartsheet, Procore, etc.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Strong internet, word processing, and spreadsheet skill.
Projects will have different construction types in different climate zones.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize work, retain accuracy, and meet project deadlines.
