Leads and directs the Architecture/Engineering staff within an office/region and performs design and other tasks of projects by maintaining the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages staff and workload.
Provide sales/proposal support.
Oversee staff work on projects.
Mentors staff.
Performs as lead Architect/Engineer/Interior Designer/Specialist.
Acts as project manager/task manager.
Develop content for BRPH digital branding.
Assigns staff to work on proposals and projects in consultation with the PM/PX.
Can be a PM on a project where there is a need, and the BUL is in agreement (typically single-discipline projects).
Can serve as proposal manager or lead technical writer in proposal efforts.
Works with Practice Leaders to monitor project progress for quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
Encourages nimble application of senior and junior staff technical talent.
Mobilizes full resources of the firm to fuel our implementation of firm-wide strategies and strategic pursuits.
Foster staff collaboration within the Groups/Studios.
Responsible for performance management of their teams.
Focus on client needs, staff needs, and project delivery (not one over the other).
Reinforces professional working relationships with the client.
Meets with clients as needed to confirm that client’s project expectations are satisfied.
Provides greater staff opportunities for learning and growth by removing office silos and geographic barriers for project assignments.
Aligns technical staff by practice to reinforce technical career paths, career development, and mentoring.
A team builder who takes pride in their staff performance and development.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree, in architecture or engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
Must be a registered architect or licensed engineer.
Minimum of ten years experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
A registered architect or licensed engineer.
