Leading Healthcare Architectural firm is seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Architect to fill a position in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Project Architect will provide full support to the project team from preliminary design through construction and occupancy of the project.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead the project team efforts for effective execution of project design and the delivery of construction documents
Lead the production of a complete set of construction documents for permitting and construction
Work closely with project team in each phase of the project delivery process to determine project approaches and priorities
Communicate with Project Manager on progress of project documents
Communicate and coordinate with project consultants
Work closely with Project Manager on budgeting, contract agreements, staffing, project hours, and project milestones
Architectural design and technical detailing
Research and specify products and materials relating to the project
QA/QC and Construction Administration
Assist in development of production schedule, project budget, and resource needs
Collaborate with the healthcare planner and principal-in-charge
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and professionalism of the instruments of service and facilitation of final architectural product
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Architecture
Professional registration, Arizona preferred
Minimum 3-5 years progressive experience leading small to large scale projects
Experience primarily with healthcare projects
Thorough knowledge of architectural systems, components, assemblies and solutions
Thorough knowledge of construction codes and compliances
Proven knowledge and experience in executing and delivering exemplary construction documents and specifications
Proficient in Revit, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and Bluebeam
Ability to multi-task, lead team members and manage consultants
Demonstrates expertise in all areas of design
Ability to stay composed and professional under project constraints
Self-motivator, enthusiastic and energetic
Ability to work independently
LEED AP a plus
Ability to interact and coordinate the permitting process and approvals with the authorities having jurisdiction
