WM2A Architects is looking for an experienced interior designer to join our firm. We are a boutique architecture firm specializing in healthcare, commercial, industrial, and education design. We are a technology-forward design firm, keeping up to date on the latest software to best serve our range of clients. We have won many awards in our long and established history, and we are fortunate to work with many repeat clients. As a small architecture firm, we work as a team to take projects from the conceptual phase of design all the way to construction administration.

This opening is for a full-time, salaried position. Please note that it is an on-site position in one of our offices – Macon, Georgia or Hillsville, Virginia. We offer a competitive salary, Health Insurance, and a 401(k) match!

Successful Applicant’s Qualifications will include: 

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA/NASAD accredited school.
• 2+ years of work experience in a design firm.
• Proven Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• NCIDQ Certification preferred
• Experience in the Design Process, Construction Documentation, Rendering, and Details.
• Must have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Successful Applicant’s Role will include: 

• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and interior designers in the Construction Document Production - from Conceptual Design through Construction Administration
• Communicating with Sales Representatives and keeping up to date on the latest products, trends, and product applications.
• Research and Select Interior Construction Materials, Finishes, and FF&E.
• Develop Plans, Elevations, and Interior Architectural Details to illustrate the understanding of the space and use of materials.
• Professional presentation of design concepts, details, and finishes to clients.
• Internal Marketing and Coordination of Responses to RFQs and RFPs.
