A7 Group, Inc. is seeking a motivated and diversified architectural professional with 5-10 years of experience in architecture and construction. The ideal candidate will be licensed in the State of California or in process and working towards licensure in the near future. The ideal candidate will also be willing to accept a flexible and diversified role which involves work outside of traditional architectural design work by performing site and property investigations, balcony inspections and forensic reports. Architectural responsibilities include preliminary site visits, as-built quantity take-offs; preparing as-built drawings, renderings, planning, zoning and code research, schematic design drawings, construction drawings, specifications, engineering consultant coordination, research and discussions w/ product manufactures; coordinate construction drawings for city review, approval and permitting, construction administration and other related tasks.

Forensic responsibilities include property inspections, photographs, field notes and sketches, analysis of litigation case file documents, draft reports, and similar tasks. Forensic work requires some travel at times to various cities throughout Southern California. This fast-paced role requires the candidate to be a self-motivated leader with willingness to meet with clients in the field and represent A7 core values of professionalism. The candidate must have exceptional time management skills; and must be an organized, self-starter with willingness to work independently. The ideal candidate will have diversified design and construction related experience and will be proficient with Revit, AutoCad, Acrobat, Photoshop, Sketchup and Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
