DUTIES:    
Design and plan complex Mixed-Use Buildings and Urban Design of public space, office, residential, hospitality, and retail program; Make design recommendations based on functionality, physical requirements, regulatory codes, environmental rules and regulations, safety issues, infrastructure, and other design and construction-related factors; Develop architectural facade systems for hybrid facilities involving curtain wall systems, window wall systems, exposed structural systems, and structural skins for mixed-use master plans; Prepare tender issuance drawing sets and facade VMU (visual mock-up) drawing sets for the buildings mentioned above; Use Rhino and Revit to perform 3D modeling of complex geometries during the design process to resolve difficult conditions occurring in mixed-use buildings; Apply advanced knowledge of 3ds Max and V-Ray rendering techniques to articulate experiential design ideas and demonstrate spatial quality for the client’s understanding; Implement Revit building information modeling techniques and CAD drafting knowledge to generate complete complex construction drawing sets, regulatory agency drawing sets, tender issue drawing sets, consultant coordination drawings, and presentation drawings; Use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign software to produce presentations for client meetings, discussion, and competition work; Apply Grasshopper to create computer scripts that satisfy particular design requirements and solve complex design problems; Synchronize the Rhino and Revit models to ensure similar material and geometry; Apply Enscape to generate walk-through animation and generate Virtual Reality 360 presentation. Lead a team of 2-3 designers to finish design studies on time with desired quality

REQUIREMENTS:    
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Architectural Design or a related field, and five (5) years of experience with the following: Conceptualizing, designing, and developing architectural plans/strategies for Complex Mixed-use Building and Urban Design construction through all phases; Using Revit to document Complex Mixed-Use Building design into BIM model and produce deliverable drawing sets with Revit; Experience with architectural design, including MEP systems, structural systems, vertical transportation systems, façade and curtain wall design technical details, considering code and zoning requirements, environmental regulations, urban constraints, and cities requirements for Complex Hybrid Building and Urban Design projects; Drafting technical drawing sets and other architectural documents through all phases using AutoCAD software for Complex Mixed-use Building and Urban Design projects; Preparing presentations through all phases using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; Performing 3D modeling of complex geometries using Rhino 3D software; Utilizing Grasshopper plugin within Rhinoceros 3D to address designs computationally; Using V-ray for rendering techniques to articulate experiential design ideas and demonstrate spatial quality for client’s understanding; Experience resolving conflicts in interpretation and coordinating drawings amongst all trades; Using Rhino, V-Ray & Photoshop to perform complex 3D modeling, designing, rendering, and visualization; AutoCAD; Experience in Enscape.
