Spencer-Pierce Architecture is looking to expand our design team! As a small firm, our team gets to work on many different project types including: financial, medical, retail, religious, education, municipal and county governmental, fire stations, residential - single family, office, restaurant, tenant finish-out, warehouses, industrial. Future team members will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects!
Applicant should have strong design experience, be self-motivated, able to work with minimal direction, and be sensitive to deadlines. Applicant should have leadership characteristics but with a collaborative mentality. The demonstration of strong attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn new things/ask questions will fit well in our small office environment.
Applicant should be able to:
Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Assist with the management of client expectations, budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation.
Serve as a point of contact with clients, consultants and contractors and assist with bringing projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with client satisfaction.
Generate architectural design concepts.
Generate, prepare and manage development of architectural design and construction drawings.
Put together project specifications.
Review architectural documents for areas of conflict with all consultant disciplines.
Attend project meetings and coordinate the completion and distribution of meeting minutes.
This is an in-office job.
Licensed Architect with minimum of five years of experience.
Proficient in AutoCad
Revit knowledge a plus but not required.
Experience with computer 3D modeling using Sketch-Up or other programs.
