The BIM Manager is responsible for managing the firm’s use and adoption of evolving technologies and developing technological and business strategies. Exposure to all phases of the design process is required, and the BIM Manager must be able to work independently and proactively to problem solve design or technical issues in collaboration with the project team, consultant team, client, and firm leadership.

Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and guidance for BIM workflows
Provide ongoing training to project teams in the use of BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, Enscape, etc.)
Attend project kick-off meetings to advise on BIM implementation (both internal and external with consultants)
Set-up new projects BIM files, standards, and BIM 360 interface
Assist project teams in preparing BIM models for issuance
Facilitate internal QA/QC reviews, such as model health checks
Manage and maintain the firm’s BIM Implementation Plan, BIM Execution Plan, and BIM Modeling Responsibility Matrix.
Ensure any changes in practice or project standards are effectively communicated to the project teams
Ensure all project BIM work complies with MA and project BIM standards
Advise on BIM scope and responsibilities for use in proposals and contracts
Participate and help lead the firm’s Revit Committee
Advanced proven knowledge of Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM authoring packages
Experience in delivering projects to BIM standards with relevant QA processes
Knowledge of programming with C#, Python and Revit API is beneficial
Education Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology
Experience 8+ years experience in the AEC industry
Software Mastery in software such as BIM360, Revit, Enscape, Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Bluebeam, MS Office
