Prestigious, international architecture design studio is seeking/hiring a Senior Architect/Project Manager to join its team in Phoenix, Arizona. This position will work directly with our main office in Milan, Italy.
We are currently looking for experienced senior architects with a minimum of 5 years of experience to be a part of our international team to lead and develop our projects in the future.
As a senior architect/project manager, you will handle the following tasks:
Management of international projects with high management complexity;
Creation of documents through architectural lifecycle (Conceptual, Design Development, Construction);
Coordination of the contributions of sub-consultants;
Coordination with municipal governments for plan submission, permitting, and zoning evaluation;
Negotiation of agreements and concluding agreements with clients, including clarification of services, deliverables, and fees;
Overall responsibility for managing time, costs, quality, and deliverables in the project;
Ability to answer RFI’s and review daily reports in coordination with construction managers and principal architects;
Responsibility for coordination with the other consultants in the project organization;
Participation in client meetings, design meetings, workshops, and authority meetings;
Contribute to interdisciplinary coordination, including coordination of external interfaces and experts, and participate in external review meetings.
We expect you to have the following competencies:
Educational background as an architect, urban planner, or equivalent;
Project management experience with all project stages – from the early design phases to construction documentation;
Minimum of five years of experience in managing projects with medium to high management complexity;
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and budget own time;
Willingness to take on constructive guidance in response to direction from managers;
Proficiency in CAD drafting and 3D rendering skills;
High-level proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and Rhinoceros. REVIT is a plus;
Licensed as an architect in one or more US states;
Experience with ARIZONA or COLORADO (or similar state requirements) legislation and building code on build projects;
Experience with commercial, residential, hospitality, and/or cultural projects.
