The project manager oversees all aspects of the design and construction process of a building projects, contributing to the success and growth of WJCA, Inc. The Project Manager works closely with principals, consultants, and project stakeholders. The Project Manager must share ideas, manage details and tasks, budgets, schedules of project stages and the building process, and direct associate staff to achieve the company and client goals of the project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop organize and review building plans • Coordinate with project stakeholders and consultants • Manage Client relationships • Ensure that construction projects meet environmental, safety, structural, zoning and aesthetic standards • Determine and schedule different stages of the building process • Communicate with consultants, clients, and staff both in written and verbal format • Manage and direct other professionals involved in the project • Ensure that all aspects of the project are aesthetically pleasing, and must resolve any cosmetic issues that may arise during the design and construction phases • Maintain proper paperwork and contracts in accordance with company standards • Arrange meetings with clients and consultants • A strong understanding of complex designs and the context in which they were created
• Minimum 3 years work experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Understanding of local and national building codes • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Proficient in CADD/Revit to create and review plans
