The City of Sacramento, Department of Public works is seeking an experienced Senior Architect. The position resides in the Facilities and Real Property Management Division which provides support for the design, construction, renovation and maintenance of all City facilities. Experience working with government facilities including fire stations, police stations, community centers and commercial office buildings is desirable.  The ability to collaborate and manage consultants, including Architects, Engineers, and other professionals is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills is required as well as a strong understanding of construction.
