Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized architectural and engineering firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. As a result, a full-time position is available for a project architect. Responsibilities include design and production of architectural construction documents, drawings, specifications and cost estimates for a variety of project sizes; coordinating with multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team members; mentoring less experienced staff; working closely with clients and contractor/developer design/build partners. Travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
· professional degree in architecture from an accredited college or university
· architect license (with the ability to obtain in additional states)
· at least seven years of relevant architecture experience
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
• leading the process for conceptual design through architectural construction documents, including collaboration with interior designers and engineers
• Revit/building information modeling (BIM)
• federal government or aviation projects
• client management
