Studio BKA was founded by husband-and-wife architect duo, Ben and Kim Allen. The pair represents the full spectrum of the architectural practice, from creativity to technology, using their individual skill sets to create a full-service company that focuses on functional, beautiful architecture from the inside-out. Ben and Kim Allen have a combined 38 years of experience, leveraging the latest in design and modeling technology to coordinate and build projects virtually to better communicate with clients and contractors. The couple began their practice in New York City where they worked for national award-winning firms for over a decade. Returning to New Orleans in 2014, Ben and Kim Allen created Studio BKA with a variety of project types as a foundation for a unique approach to their projects. Studio BKA has extensive experience designing new construction projects as well as renovations, historic tax-credit projects, with building types ranging from mixed-use buildings to residential to religious. Putting user experience and client satisfaction at the forefront of every design, Studio BKA seeks to deliver timeless, contextual projects for their clients.
