Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced architect with leadership skills to join our firm. You will manage a variety of projects (both residential and commercial) toward a goal of improving the quality and vision of the Architecture. You will supervise staff through multiple phases of design from concept through construction. If you are looking to work on smaller, design driven projects where you will contribute significantly to the design and overall quality, this job would be a great fit. NFA is a small Architecture firm in New Orleans that works on both Residential and Commercial projects.

Architect Duties and Responsibilities

• Design
• Produce Presentation Materials
• Manage Productivity of Staff and set project expectations
• Attend and/or Run Meetings with Clients and Consultants
• Quality Control
• Materials Research
• Adherence to local code and zoning ordinances
• Produce Construction Documents
• Construction Administration activities

• Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, or Doctor of Architecture from and Accredited University
• Working knowledge of Revit
• Prior experience as an Architect (6-10 years preferred)
