The Chief of Architecture & Sustainability ensures that the facilities operated by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) are designed to be safe, ADA accessible, functional, and sustainable. The incumbent will manage and supervise other in-house staff, consulting Project Managers, and Licensed Architects who are responsible for managing the architectural design of MTA's transportation facilities.  The architectural design of MTA’s transportation facilities projects includes train stations, maintenance facilities, roof replacements, signage, interior renovations,  metro stations, and other support facilities. The incumbent will be the lead in complying with sustainable practices while managing large and complex projects that include coordination with other departments/agencies within
