Role Description
The Global Accounts Studio’s foundation is based on long-term successful client relationships and project partnerships that have an international reach but with a national focus. We are structured to best deliver multiple projects for each client account through a deep understanding of their story, unique real estate goals, workplace strategy, and brand which are integrated through all phases of a project. This provides us the ability to continuously evolve and expand based on the client’s needs and requests. We are a team of interior designers and architects at all levels that flex our knowledge of design and technical expertise. We provide multiple opportunities for professional growth based on an individual’s career path goals and reinforced through select staffing for projects, structured personal conversations, and overall mentorship.
This role is responsible for Interior Design projects from start to completion ensuring that clients have the highest quality customer service and project satisfaction. Responsible for specific technical details/design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of interior design solutions. Participate as a member of the project team in all aspects of project scope, production & implementation of construction documents and coordination of consultant scope. Assist in managing client expectations. Coordinates communication between project team, sub-contractors and other disciplines. Responsible for ensuring that production of construction documents are in concert with design intent. Conduct code analyses and be the primary point of contact with jurisdictions. Perform submittal reviews during construction, maintain RFI and submittal logs. May supervise a small team of interior designers and technicians.
Requirements
- Eight plus years of experience in design and production on commercial interiors projects
- Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- Full proficiency in Revit and AutoCad and other applicable programs
- Strong experience in construction document preparation and field operations
- Experience in all phases, from strategic planning and programming through construction and post-occupancy phases
- Competent in business writing and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and staff
- Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management and staff
- Excellent organizational skills
