Studio Gang is seeking a Designer to join our Chicago-based Model Shop Team. Our team designs and fabricates models for all active projects and maintains our collection of physical models in our new Visible Archive and Gallery in Chicago, working in close collaboration with studio leadership and design teams. This person understands modeling as an architectural tool for design and will assist the team in planning and producing physical models and mock-ups for all phases of design. Able to move fluidly between digital and analog technologies, the Designer demonstrates a strong understanding of the design concept guiding each project and connects all assigned tasks back to it.
