Major Duties: Roles to be performed in this position will include all phases of project design and management, performed under a project manager which include:
Meet with clients to determine their needs, project goals and overall vision
Develop design concepts for projects, build upon the ideas, and determine materials and finishes
Making FF&E selections that are appropriate for the project aesthetic, function and budget
Assist project architect and/or other interior designers in creation and organization of all design documents
Coordinate with other architectural disciplines such as lighting consultants, MEP engineers, structural engineers
Meet deadlines and other schedule criteria
Meet document standards of drawing quality and accuracy
The candidate will be working in conjunction with other team members including architects, interior designers, graphic designers/3D renderers, furniture dealers, and consulting engineers. Client interaction will be an important part of the design process requiring the candidate to have an excellent professional presence, the ability to communicate well verbally & graphically and maintain a high level of character & integrity.

Fluent knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
Preferred but not required:
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, and FF&E specifications
Skills in hand drawing and color rendering
Relevant Work Experience: Candidates MUST have 2-4 years’ experience working in medium sized commercial projects (approximately 10,000 SF). Residential experience need not apply. Professional Registration is not required. Corporate Interiors experience is preferred.
