Interior design firm in NW Philadelphia is looking for a Project Manager with drafting experience. This is a great opportunity for a focused and organized person who has a background in architecture or construction management.
Create build documents for projects using sketchup (will train).
Solicit bids for projects from local contractors.
Use spreadsheets and project management software to track budgets and order hardware, cabinets, etc.
Schedule contractors, deliveries, and inspections. Manage a project calendar on Google.
Advise clients and manage expectations and changes. Daily emails and phone calls as necessary.
Visit sites throughout metro Philadelphia. Vehicle and license necessary.
Enforce Quality Control and fix design issues.
Accept deliveries and transport items from our office to sites.
Complete other company tasks as needed.

Most of our work is custom, so have a passion for figuring out details for items like cabinetry, lighting, and hardware.
Most of our jobs are in NW Philadelphia and the main line. Occasionally travel to other areas in and around Philadelphia will be required.
Bachelor or experience in architecture, interior design, or construction management preferred.
2+ years experience in project management or similar field. Preferably in the USA.
Comfortable and knowledgeable commuting in Philadelphia, licensed driver with vehicle preferred.
Must own smart phone.
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
Be comfortable answering questions about everything related to home renovations. Structural issues, plumbing and electric, material maintenance, etc etc. You don’t have to know everything, but you should know how to find answers quickly.
$24-28/hr depending on experience.
Flexible schedule. We typically work M-F 830-5, but it’s easy to schedule around your needs. We do require occasional meetings early morning or early evening. As long as the work gets done on time and the clients are happy, we do not require a set schedule.
Work with a friendly staff in a light filled office in Mt Airy with easy parking and lots of plants.
Bonus related to amount of projects completed. Add ~$10K to your salary.
