Strada, a cross-disciplinary design firm, is seeking an experienced licensed Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Position will entail architectural design, design production, 3D modeling, construction detailing, deliverable development and engagement in construction administrative services. Experience with LEED V.4 certification process a plus. This position is in our Philadelphia Office.
Architectural Responsibilities for project design and development.
Strong Design Sensitivity.
Assist team members in construction detailing, construction administration services and training.
Provide a resource to project teams for quality control and development of documents and deliverables, again mentoring younger staff with practical experience.
A facility for working in BIM software, collaborative design process and organization.
Desired Skills and Abilities
Experience at taking projects both new and renovation through the construction process.
A command of construction document delivery and process.
A command of construction administration service including multiple forms of project delivery, CM, CM at Risk, Design Build, Design Bid Build, and/or P3.
Ability to think creatively and strategically
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, client’s contractors and firm leadership.
Is proactive, resourceful, a self-starter and can easily multi-task and maintain/prioritize deadlines while responding to constantly changing needs and schedules.
Meet project deadlines and organize complex material, delivering solid project results.
Can solve problems and work independently, and as a team player
