The Designer II actively participates in the project design and production by performing architectural assignments. Under the direction of a Registered Architect, the Designer II is responsible for the production of complete, accurate, and well-coordinated documents.
Graduate of an accredited architectural program with Bachelor's level degree.
Demonstrated ability to produce high quality design and architectural drawings.
Demonstrated ability to make design and documentation decisions requiring discretion and good judgement.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated competency with required computer software.
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Adhere to both Cooper Carry and the Client guidelines and meet deadlines for each project.
Demonstrate architectural skills to include drawing, rendering, visual and presentation skills utilizing internal resources.
Collaborate in the design process.
Prepare and produce drawings, design and construction documents for complex structures.
Inform Project Team Leaders of potential project opportunities.
Demonstrate an understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods.
Maintain knowledge of Cooper Carry projects and resources.
Promote a collaborative team environment
Complete research as needed.
Contribute as required to the overall quality and success of the project, studio and firm.
Become a Registered Architect.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
