Land+Shelter is a small firm located in Carbondale Colorado. We'd love to find a local to join our team, but we're open to remote employees options for the right fit. We’re excited to add a new project manager to our team and we’re looking for someone to join us in our devotion to design.
We expect that anyone applying will have strengths and weaknesses but overall – we’re looking for a philosophy and personality fit as much as anything else. Critical skills: communication, hand drawing, design acumen, design passion, Revit, and construction drawing experience for cold mountain climates.
It’s important that applicants understand Colorado and are familiar with the area where most of our projects are located. Consistent office hours are expected although the specific hours of the day are flexible. We make reasonable allowances for parenting, personal time, powder days, and long weekends. The L+S benefits package includes health care, standard vacation, personal time, and sick time, overtime, community service paid time off, continuing education, and a 401k matching benefit.
Must love architecture.
Complete applications should be emailed to email@example.com. Dropbox links are fine, but please don't submit an application at this website. We won't review it. Applicants please send:
Resume with dates of full time experience
A thoughtful portfolio that must include some personal work, and is not just a file folder of work examples. Please don't send finished photos without context or 24x36 CD sets from past jobs as a stand in for this requirement.
Cover letter explaining your most recent role and responsibilities, include comments on any experience with code (building and/or land use codes), and if you primarily focused on any specific phase of work in the past.
Two recent references, at least one of which is an architectural manager/boss.
Applications are only accepted if they are emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Emailing a link for download is fine. Thank you for applying to L+S!
Telecommuting is allowed.
