We are currently seeking a Project Architect / Project Manager to join the Facilities Business Line and Architectural Practice in our Piscataway, NJ office. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to lead a variety of project types and sizes. The office currently services both public and private sector clients, including but not limited to project types in transportation, higher education, commercial/industrial, pharmaceutical, warehousing, and public works. Resoponsibilities Include: - Prepares project documents for assigned projects including initial thru final sheet set-up on project drawings, drawing schedules, plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications.
- Capable of motivating and managing a small project team of varying staff levels including architects and engineers for a positive completion of more than one project.
- Responsible for project work during construction including but not limited to submittal tasks, field inspections, RFI’s, supplemental work including sketches, or material approval during submittal review process.
- Formulates and gather code information on projects for review with supervisor.
- Individual is capable of working proficiently on their own with direction from supervisor.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Develop presentations, designs, and technical solutions through all phases of a project.
- Produce conceptual designs and renderings for project and presentation purposes
- Assist with preparing proposals
- Assist with marketing and managing clients
- Perform building surveys and forensic investigations
