Studio 8 Design is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team. As a full-service architectural firm, we serve a wide variety of private sector and governmental clients. Our firm specializes in multi-family housing, higher education, historic rehabilitation, and corrections design. We are dedicated to providing excellence in design and service to our clients. Our ideal candidate will work collaboratively within all studios to provide well-coordinated, high quality drawings.
Job Location: Valdosta, Georgia
Years of Experience: Prefer 2 Years (and/or graduate pursuing licensure)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings under Supervisor’s direction
- Prepare drawings in accordance with applicable Code and Building Requirements
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
- Work collaboratively with team to produce projects on schedule
- Review documents independently to ensure accuracy
- Communicate (verbally and written) in an effective manner within team and with clients
- Independently manage time in an efficient manner
Preferred Training & Skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD 2020 and Revit 2020 or later
- Organizational skills (ability to follow established protocol)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Photoshop; Sketch-Up; Lumion
- Prepare renderings (2-D and 3-D)
- Ability to focus, think critically to find creative solutions, and develop accurate drawings
