There is an immediate need for a full-time Senior Technical Architect to work with staff members on varied residential and small scale institutional projects.  Candidates should have 10 to 15 years experience and able to work on multiple projects. Strong construction detailing experience and ability to direct and edit content and organization of working drawings.  Ability to construct production schedules, and oversee several staff including staff architects and junior drafts people.  Autocad skills required for management, rather than production purposes.

Successful candidates will have ability to receive projects in Schematics/Design Development and develop into Construction Documents, oversee scope, detailing, notation and specification, and ability to delegate to production team.  They will prepare Project Manuals and oversee quality control of deliverables.  Will be familiar with materials and assemblies, ability to define scope and develop details. Should have appropriate experience in either high-end residential or institutional work required and be a Registered Architect. 

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture (BArch, March, or Architectural Technology)
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills
• Ability to confidently work with team and contractors on multiple projects
• Registered Architect
• Permanent legal US work status
• ACAD skills necessary for management purposes
