Make routine construction site visits throughout Louisiana to observe, document, and evaluate progress, performance, schedules, budgets, and compliance of new construction and renovation projects with the design team.
Prepare and record job site observations in a formatted reporting system
Attend and/or facilitate in person and virtual project development and construction coordination meetings with the project team
Review and verification of A/E and General Contractor pay applications
Participate in the review and approval of Final Inspections of completed work and manage the closeout process.
Prepare and maintain electronic project files
Evaluate scope changes and cost proposals to provide recommendations to the client for acceptance or rejection
Coordinate with code officials and stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Architecture
4-5 years of experience with construction, architecture or engineering project management
General knowledge of means and methods of construction, and Building Codes and regulations
Proficient in basic Microsoft Office Products, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
Great verbal and written communication, analytical, business, customer service, and decision-making skills
Ability to effectively communicate with A/E Design Teams and Contractor
General knowledge of AIA Documents, specifically, but not limited to A101 Owner/Contractor Agreements and A102 General Conditions
General knowledge of Construction Documents and Specifications
