Red Barn Architecture is seeking applicants for the role of Intern Architect About the position The Intern Architect will work directly with the firm’s Principal and will be involved all project phases from conception through construction administration. Perfect opportunity for young designers looking to complete hours towards licensure and gain exposure to a variety of project types. Representative tasks will include: measurement and documentation of existing conditions; drafting and red lines; subcontractor coordination; presentation renderings; and construction site visits. Candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude and proactive work style. Ability to multi-task is key; we are a busy and expanding firm. If you like dogs, skiing and beer, that’s a plus (but not required). Position requires an understanding of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite. Other rendering tools are a plus. We are a Mac-based office (and have found the transition for PC users isn’t difficult). Access to a car and a valid license is required.
