The starting salary range is $61.16-$66.15/classroom hour, with future steps up to $77.38/classroom hour. Placement is based on verified previous college teaching or counseling experience.
The Digital Design Graphics Technology (DDGT) department at the Napa Valley College is currently looking to hire an adjunct faculty member for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters. The DDGT department is also an Autodesk Training Center (ATC). As such, we utilize the latest release of Autodesk software in our classes with Autodesk Certifications in all courses. We are looking for an Instructor for the Architectural side of the program. The class will be held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1pm to 5:15pm 8/18 – 12/17. The instructor will be utilizing the latest release of Revit in the instruction. Instructor does not need to have their own home license. Instructor must have Autodesk Certified Professional certification which needs to be acquired before November 2020.
The incumbent will be teaching DDGT230 – Digital Architectural Drafting and Design 1 in the Fall and DDGT231 - Digital Architectural Drafting and Design 2 in the Spring. The course description is as follows:
A study of the digital graphic representation used by the architectural field, building codes, symbology, floor plans, sectional views, foundation plans, roof framing plans, specifications, interior/exterior elevations, computer animated walk-throughs and fly-bys as relates to residential architecture and design.
Earned Bachelor's degree and two years experience;
OR Associate's degree and six years experience;
OR the equivalent;
OR California Community College credential.
