Canary is a diverse and nimble design team that specializes in an integrated approach to interiors, environmental graphics, brand strategy and architecture to create memorable spaces for our clients. We function as a specialized creative team within Gould Evans, a national architecture firm.
We are looking for candidates that display the still and desire to be a part of a multi-disciplinary team and who possess a rigorous work ethic. Candidates should be ambitious and curious with a collaborative mindset and a strong passion for the design process, project delivery and how design influences the physical space.

Ideal candidates possess:
A balanced practice of conceptual thinking as well as technical abilities to help bring a project to fruition
Confidence in leading design dialogue both internally and with client groups
Ability to take initiative to anticipate, strategize, and overcome obstacles before they occur
Collaborative, client-first mentality
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, interior design, architecture, construction & fabrication or other related design field and/or a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant 3D/environmental graphic design experience
Strong understanding and passion for creating three-dimensional design solutions including concept generation, innovative solutions, 2D and 3D design skills, messaging, typography, color, materiality, fabrication techniques and detailing
Ability to read/interpret floorplans, RCPs, and elevations
Proficiency in Adobe CC, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, & Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Google Sketchup or equivalent
Experience with 3D Max, Grasshopper, Rhino, Podium or equivalent and web design a plus
