Your Role As a ThinkForm BIM Manager / Architect you will participate on various projects through all phases of the project to complete simple and complex tasks necessary for the realization of an architectural project. You will be responsible for the coordination of most project efforts from concept design through construction documentation and assist during construction administration. You will represent ThinkForm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates.
You’re a fit for this role if you have experience in design presentations through construction documentation, are expert level in Revit, and enjoy working collaboratively to create and realize the built environment.
What You Will Do
As project team member, participate in collaborative process from concept through construction documents.
Produce accurate detailed Revit models for technical and contract documentation for construction of project(s)
Assist in construction administration
Work with consultants, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
BIM Manager to be the responsible person who is accountable for BIM, including family creation and model management coordination between team members for the project
Serve as the in-house resource to resolve Revit issues and support staff in our transition to a fully Revit based design studio
Ensure compliance with BIM Standard and required deliverables
Develop, maintain, update, distribute, and provide clarifications to/for the BIM Execution Plan
Structure, define, coordinate, and manage model creation, model and data quality control across all disciplines under contractual umbrella
Lead and facilitate the BIM Management Project Kick-off meeting with project team member modelers to explain the BIM project objectives and management protocols
Coordinate updates of Design-Intent model(s) to create the Record Model and delivery of BIM-derived 2D Drawings and other information as required to support the project delivery process
Institute Quality Control (QC) for proper modeling, standards adherence, and classification of all spaces and equipment as required
Provide proper delivery and data and model quality control and coordination
Think and Form
Bachelor of Architecture degree
6 to 10 years of professional experience
5 years (minimum) Revit experience
Licensed Architect or License track
Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques
Experience in presentation through construction document preparation
Expert level in Revit
Can lead and follow, strong organizational skills
