This position is Full Time and the successful candidate should have experience in similar positions in an Architectural Firm. Candidates should have Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills; Fluent English is essential. The Project Manager will work directly with the Principals.

We are centrally located in Mission Valley.
Manage multiple small/medium projects, coordinate all aspects of assigned projects, and estimate scope of work.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture 8-12 Years of Experience in Architecture 4-6 Years of Experience in Project Management DSA Experience is a plus Design-Build Experience is a plus PMP accreditation is a plus
Job Specific Qualifications 1. Registered architect preferred 2. Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices in broad array of assignments and related fields 3. Acts independently regarding architectural methods and complexities 4. Organized 5. Requires use of advanced techniques and modification/extension of theories, precepts, and practices of individual's field. 6. Ability to delegate assignments to support staff and always be respectful 7. Professional attitude and appearance 8. Understand contractual liabilities as they relate to projects including fee calculations 9. Ability to write and edit specifications 10. Works well with others 11. Annual 5 hours of ADA Continuing Education 12. Willingness and hunger for expansion of knowledge (LEED/Sustainable Certification, licensure, etc.) 13. Have complete knowledge and follows SWA procedures, standards, and protocols
1. Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects 2. Prepares strategic plans for project success 3. Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. 4. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client's satisfaction 5. Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments 6. Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts 7. Supervise and manage up to six team members for all phases of projects 8. Resolve issues related to team members and consultants 9. Coach, mentor, and provide performance-enhancing feedback of assigned team members 10. Support senior project manager and/or principal in supervision and delegation of work 11. Negotiate contracts and fees with clients and consultants 12. Have primary role in marketing interviews and writing marketing proposals 13. Maintain primary contact with client and have excellent follow-through with client to help get repeat work 14. Prepare and manage work plans, schedules, budgets, staffing projections, and fees for large projects, and coordinate billing 15. Review documents for code compliance in all phases and issue code interpretations 16. Review cost estimates and conduct value analysis 17. Supervise and resolve issues in preparation of construction documents 18. Responsible for the completeness of the specifications
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, InDesign, Projects, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
