Essential Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Has minimum 7 years of relevant experience working with different building and occupancy types (Commercial & Industrial construction required).
Understands structures and systems - mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.
Proficient specifications writer and knowledgeable of Construction Codes.
Proficient in Autodesk products, and proficient in Office products and Design based programs like SketchUp, Bluebeam, Revit, etc.
Demonstrates presentation and computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong graphic and written communication skills required.
Able to lead teams internally and work on multiple projects with consultants with varying deadlines within the design phase; effectively manage consultant relationships.
Self -driven; able to take the initiative and produce with little direction.
Able to work in and direct workflow within a fast-paced, high energy environment.
Able to build and maintain relationships and communicate with others effectively, both orally and in writing, in a professional and competent manner
Demonstrates organization and time management, which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining thoroughness and precision.
Is team-oriented, proactive and has strong work ethic.
- 4 or 5-year Architectural Degree
- Licensed Architect is a Plus
- At least 7 years of experience in construction or design of commercial projects
