Our team is seeking a Lead Technical Architect. This position reports directly to the CDO, with the responsibility of providing results and information on the technical code involved in projects. This is a hands-on position in a fast paced, growing environment. In any start up organization, the team members must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of activities in the course of daily business, including some which may not normally be part of the job description for an equivalent position elsewhere. It is therefore a requirement that the individual filling this position has an aptitude to learn new skills, to think for themselves and be able to work in an environment where fixed routines may not be established.

Responsibilities • Create and oversee the construction document process. • Create and review standard specifications. • Responsible for project goals and schedules. • Manage a team of project designers through the construction document process. • Create templates protocols and standards for the Precision Development Group. • Ability to review, comment on, and make conclusions on complex code requirements – specifically those involving solvents and hazardous building classifications.
Skills • Excellent project management skills. • Understanding of standard construction procedures • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2018, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office • Overall strong IT skills • Excellent time-management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills • Great interpersonal and communicative abilities • Ability to travel the U.S./Internationally • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work outside normal business hours if necessary.
Experience • 8-12 years working as an architect. • Must be a Registered Architect in a U.S. State. • Must be experienced in industrial-class buildings, hazardous-class buildings, and solvents. • GMP and compliance-related experience is a plus.
Education • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture
Additional Salary Information: Pay commensurate with experience.
