Permit Coordinators work under the supervision of Lead Permit Coordinators to directly support Client permitting needs. Permit Coordinator will be responsible for initiating, tracking, and coordinating construction permits related to water, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure projects for local utilities. Permit Coordinators must communicate information clearly and in a timely manner between Lead Permit Coordinators, Client project managers, and permit reviewers.
Specific Job Duties:
Permit Coordinators are responsible for:
Assist with submitting DDOT, DCRA and other permit applications for Client projects.
Meet with DDOT/DCRA or other regulatory officials for troubleshooting issues related to current and/or future permit submissions.
Attend monthly DDOT Permit Coordination Meetings with Client to help develop permitting strategy for projects.
Assist with maintaining Permit Tracking Spreadsheet for all Permits submitted for Client projects.
Respond to daily emails and/or tasks received from Lead Permit Coordinator as they are assigned.
Minimum 4-year undergraduate degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or structural Engineering
Minimum 4 years work experience in Architecture or Engineering
Experience with construction permits preferred but not required
Additional Salary Information: Final salary to be negotiated dependent on applicant qualifications
