The ideal candidate will have experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit to create drafts for projects, be able to provide project management support on various capital construction projects working with Senior Project Managers or managing minor projects independently, and will assist in the development and delivery of projects from preliminary phase activities to construction completion. They will also assist in managing and maintaining For-Profit properties.
Assist in the planning, oversight, and coordination of all phases of design, construction and renovation for major and minor projects.
Assist in the provision of overall project management on simultaneous projects while adhering to Lakeland priorities and guidelines and to ensure that projects are constructed in accordance with plans and specifications, applicable construction codes, as well as Lakeland standards.
Assist in the processing of all construction pay applications and contracts in accordance with Lakeland practices, policies and procedures.
Work with customers in the development of project conceptualization and design intent, the definition of work scope and assist in the development of cost estimates, project schedules and project budgets in accordance with Lakeland policies and procedures and customer requirements.
Participate in the solicitation of architectural and engineering proposals to provide design services, prepare contract documents and participate in the oversight of job specific relationships.
Participate in the bidding and construction phase activities for various capital renovation, new construction, or minor capital projects.
Assist in the management of consulting design professionals and the development of project scope through bidding and award.
Assist in the feasibility and budgeting of departmental project requests.
Review and approve invoices related to project delivery. Prepare and maintain financial reports and records appropriate to assigned projects.
Prepare minutes of meetings, performance reports, construction schedule status reports.
Generate Construction Documents (Plans & Specs) for smaller internal departmental projects.
Review For-Profit buildings physical conditions, and make recommendations for capital repairs.
Solicit repair and maintenance bids, and administrate their contracts.
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelors in a related Field
5+ years of experience in Architecture &/or Facilities Construction or Construction Management
Healthcare experience preferred
