Award winning architecture, planning and interior design firm located in the Washington DC metro area with strong experience in the hospitality industry, including work in the Caribbean, is looking for a Miami-based business development director to focus on hospitality and resort projects in Miami and the Caribbean. A degree in Architecture or Interior Design is preferable, though our need is for business development and skills in identifying, reaching, and engaging hotel and resort owners and management to introduce our firm and our services.
This is a totally independent position which will require you to generate your own lead pipeline and to recognize and seize upon opportunities as they present themselves. You should have the ability to discuss aspects of hospitality and design to inspire owners and management to a vision of improving their facility and bringing a better experience to their own clients.
Candidates should reside in the Miami/Dade area and have the ability to travel extensively to the islands of the Caribbean. Bilingual (English/Caribbean Spanish) or Multilingual (English/Caribbean Spanish/French) is not necessary but preferred.
This position is open now, and we will travel to Miami in the coming weeks to interview select candidates.
