Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Develop and oversee implementation of concept and design direction.
Art Direction, concept and design development.
Supervise preparation of presentation materials.
Spearhead presentations at client meetings.
Project liason for clients, vendors and team.
Mentor, train, and supervise team members.
Manage quality control on projects.
Effectively manage team members to ensure all project tasks are being met.
Mange project budgets including fee development and cost estimates.
Determine and clarify team members’ responsibilities, goals, deadlines and expected performance.
Assessing and communicating team members’ performance throughout the project.
Creating and maintaining overall schedule and keeping team members (including client and vendors) apprised of changes.
Support new business functions as required, including assistance with research, proposals, contracts, presentations and cost estimates.
Assessing and acting on new business development opportunities in conjunction with marketing team
Assisting with proposal writing and review
Minimum 5-10 years experience in Environmental Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or other related field.
Professional experience in leading various project teams.
Experience with planning, documenting and management of environmental graphics, branded environment and wayfinding projects.
Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
Operate effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
Understanding of budgetary constraints.
Excellent design sense with the ability to provide clear, critical design review and direction to project teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge about products, production methods, fabrication and installation is a plus.
