Vectorworks, Inc. is looking for a Product Specialist - Architecture to help us identify business development opportunities, as well as provide consultation, industry expertise, and training services for customers, prospects, and our internal teams.

In this role, you should expect to:
Maintain an advanced understanding of the Vectorworks products and competitors
Discover and act upon speaking, sponsorship, and networking opportunities with industry organizations and trade shows
Nurture relationships with higher education faculty to make Vectorworks the design solution of choice within the classroom
Monitor and participate in various social media outlets and industry websites to gain market intelligence
Create and deliver marketing webinar presentations for users and prospects and follow-up with leads
Cultivate and provide customized online and one-on-one training and detailed product demonstrations for prospects
Create and deliver product demonstrations and presentations to sales team, users, and prospects at various user group meetings, trade shows, and other events
Work closely with the sales and technical support teams to understand the customer’s needs, desires, and complaints
Seek to improve internal processes between marketing, sales, customer service, and technical support
Other duties as assigned

Highly proficient in Vectorworks Architecture with 5+ years of experience using the software
A driven and high achieving individual that shows initiative, can multitask, and is able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Comfortable speaking to large audiences, networking and performing business development duties

A bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Architecture with 5+ years related work experience or a combination of the two
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary firm leveraging BIM workflows
Knowledge of computer graphics, architecture, user interface and geometric algorithms
The ability to develop and deliver internal documentation and training to improve the knowledge and performance of our staff and representatives
Strong project management skills for thorough planning and project execution
A positive attitude and willingness to work with the team to achieve departmental goals
The ability to travel (approximately 30%)
