We are seeking an Operations Director, who will be responsible for key functional areas of the company: Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources and Facilities Management. The role of the Operations Director is to ensure these functional areas are operating effectively and efficiently; to manage expenses in line with the budget; and, seek ways to improve business processes.
Lead and manage overall operations and profitability of studio in accordance with business goals
Develop and maintain operating budget and fee projections
Monitor financial performance and develop key performance indicators
Meet with senior managers on a bi-weekly basis to ensure accountability and timely completion of phased client projects and studio initiatives, as well as develop strategies and tactics to achieve them
Ensure quality of project deliverables through strong quality control review, training, and utilization of staff
Participate in marketing activities to help develop fees relative to scope and schedule
Thorough understanding of the legal and financial aspects of professional practice, particularly as they relate to fee, risk management, and contract negotiation
Oversee a thorough recruitment, hiring, on-boarding and training process for staff
Set appropriate standards for professional performance and implement methods and techniques to increase effectiveness
Evaluate and mentor staff to encourage professional growth and leadership development
Oversee maintenance of facility, equipment and supplies
Work closely with external consultants
Work closely with Principal to anticipate new initiatives that will impact operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, regular reporting and close, working relationships with the Principal.
A. or masters level degree in accounting, information systems, or finance.
10+ years in progressive management positions, preferably in the service sector.
Proficient in MS 365, Quickbooks Pro and time-tracking software such as Core, Ajera or Harvest.
