MZA is seeking a Project Manager in our Bellevue office with experience in any or all of the following markets: Commercial Mixed-Use, Multi-Family Residential, and Hospitality, including high-rise, mid-rise, and low-rise buildings of concrete, steel, and/or wood frame construction.
The Project Manager is responsible for the process management implementation and delivery of each assigned project, as well as project budgets, work plans and goals. This individual serves as the Process Manager on selected single projects. He / she works in collaboration with the project architect and designer to provide performance leadership, management (including budgets, schedules and work plans), and direction for specific projects within the market or client group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop respect and strong working relationships with employees, leaders, and clients.
Lead project delivery quality, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
Contributing actively in supporting the design framework of projects as part of a team.
Contributing to detailed preparation of design and construction documents and solutions to general architectural problems.
Participate in important client communications and videoconferencing that occasionally occur after hours.
Participate in multiple jobs simultaneously
Forming lasting relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Takes responsibility for their work and its outcomes and that of their team
Demonstrates diligence and commitment to their role and responsibilities
Professional Degree in architecture (master’s preferred)
Licensed Architect or in the process of obtaining licensure.
6 years or more of experience in the architectural design community developing construction document drawings for a variety of project types.
Must be organized, careful and adept at multi-tasking. The position requires collaboration and a commitment to quality and risk management.
Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills
Experience leading, mentoring and coordinating project teams
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
LEED Accredited a plus.
Proven knowledge of general architecture practice including schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction administration, civil, structural, and mechanical and electrical engineering.
