The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), located in Washington, DC, seeks a Land Use Program Manager with demonstrated experience and interest in state and local land use policy issues. The candidate will advocate for reasonable and effective land use policies affecting the home building industry at the local, state, and federal levels. This involves policy analysis and providing technical assistance to members and affiliated builder associations on a diverse range of issues, including the development approval process, infrastructure finance, housing affordability, site planning, and community design.
The candidate should have excellent writing and verbal skills, able to multitask and be a team player in a small department with national visibility. Master’s degree in Land Use Planning or related field, or equivalent in education and experience is required.
